I ain't dead yet

Just lazy.

Been busy writing, currently up to page 63 or so of one script I've been tossing about for a while. It really is a lot easier when you plot the whole thing out other than just go with an idea and write.

Seen Karmella's Game a few times. Put photos up from the last time a the gallery: http://www.fallentear.com/gallery/v/KG11-27-06/

I also saw a few films:

Casino Royale - liked the first half, sort of. Film went downhill when I realized I don't give a shit about watching people play cards.

Borat - Despite sitting in the very front row, an experience to which my neck has yet to recover, I laughed my ass off, hype be damned!

Lunacy - If there was a better film with stop motion meat animation, I'd like to see it. I'll be scrubbing my eyeballs for weeks...

Little Children - Nice, simple, well done drama. Nothing new, just good performances (except for two tiny flaws at the end) and great tone.

Jackass 2 - Better than the original. "I guess the puppet show is over"

Science of Sleep - Very cute. Very Gondry. Blown opportunity with the ending. Not as good as Sunshine...

Flags of our Fathers - Interesting, but unfocused. Nothing new here. My dislike for Haggis material continues...

I have also been listening to Malajube a lot. I know they're Canadien and they sing in French (so I have no idea what they're talking about), but damn if it ain't catchy.

I also attended a high school alumni event of sorts. There were only about 13-15 people from my class there, but I had a good enough time talking to a few people that I might consider going back for my tenth reunion next year. Funny how a few people I thought were complete assholes were actually OK to talk to 9 years removed. Course, most of it was just, "how are you, what have you been up to, etc."

Oh, and the Redskins WON a game, to my surprise. Let the Jason Campbell era begin!

It's way too hot in DC for the first day of December. I would enjoy if it wasn't probably due to global warming.

T minus 45 days and counting till L.A. arrival...

It's a strange world. Let's keep it that way.
