At first it was exciting, but now it's getting dull. Big deal, someone else died. Oh, yay, someone else got the shit beat out of them. It's only an event if it's rare. Agreed. I find much of the technology involved in this interesting. To be able to cross worlds? Suppress powers in such a manner? Truly incredible.

There are ways to block someone's ki. Or at least keep the body from being able to use it. But half my systems are down, and that takes something more than just the suppression of energy. Not to mention that in the past, they've apparently caused mood swings, etc., yet we have no signs of brain surgery when we arrive. Which I at least figure would be the way one does that.
