I just read some great news. You'll forgive me for being about eight months late on this, but I guess I just don't follow my entertainment news the way I should. So shoot me!
Still, this is exciting. You want to hear this (even if it's for the second time).
After watching Un long dimanche de fiançailles (A Very Long Engagement), I started checking online to see what the next big Jean-Pierre Jeunet project was going to be. According to
BBC News and
Jeunet's official website, it looks like he'll be directing The Life of Pi.
How cool is that?!
Apparently, M. Night Shyamalan and Alfonso Cuaron were originally signed on for the project, but since Jeunet was the last word on the subject, back in October, I'm figuring this is pretty much official. The film is still in pre-production according to
IMDB.com.
