I'm feeling a lot better. I was having a excriciating headaches for the last four days, but my headache is gone and the pressure is mostly gone. I was going to go to the doctor's, but since I woke up feeling miraculously I didn't. I might buy meds specifically for sinuses in case this ever happens again, though.

Oh, how I love April Fool's news stories. Fiction World Rocked as Woman Claims No Sexual Attraction to Neil Gaiman.

Also

makes me giggle. Yay for Gaiman/Who references. Neil (& his dog) for the 11th Doctor's companion(s)!

I spent over an hour at the bookstore 5 minutes from my apartment today. I love that store so fucking much and try to spend my hard-earned money there as much as possible, instead of walking 5 more minutes to the Barnes & Noble. (By the way- how lucky am I to have two bookstores within walking distance of my apartment and a library right next door to my work?)

I bought

&

today and very nearly bought The Annotated Dracula. The fact that is was $45 and my copy that I've had since I was 12 was like, $4 was the reason why I didn't. I love the Annotated series, though. Maybe I'll get it when my tax return comes.

Some of the journals I registered when I made the jump from GJ to IJ were being marked as set to be purged, so I re-activated all of those except for wayned, whose password I cannot remember for the life of me. It's the exact same number of letters as a password I use frequently...but it isn't that and I tried like 8 million different things with no luck. IJ it is no help to me for you to send me a forgotten password email with the password all in asterisks and no way to reset it. I guess I'll have to nab it again after it's been purged.

If any of you like science and enjoy podcasts, you should subscribe to RadioLab. The production can be a little gimmicky and I've actually unsubscribed from the podcast a few times because I couldn't get into it, but I really love it now. I don't like taking science classes, but I love reading about it (see the books I bought today) and it's really very interesting. Sperm from their most recent season is a great show.

This is really long so I'm going to shut up now. ♥
