Ok, I recently purchased two new transformers, Masterpiece Skywarp and ROTF Jetfire and I thought I would share my insights with you.
Masterpiece Skywarp:
This bot is in every part and piece the same as Starscream, transforms the same, colors are great and seems to have some of the flaws Starscream had adjusted, but there are some flaws. When in jet mode the chest doesnt completly close together so when I put it on display in jet mode I have to manipulate it so it will fit into the stand peg hole. Thats pretty much about it for the flaw, otherwise its a great bot and looks awesome in robot mode. I recommend you buy it.

ROTF Skyfire:
This bot is a pretty good reproduction of the movie character, the bot mode is fun to look at and what I found out was his head and spokes are soft. His head movements are limited to side to side movments. He actually stands pretty good without his "cane" and has one phrase in robot mode. Now the negatives are pretty robust from my own experiences, it may vary with others, but I have been transforming these things for 25 years, some without instructions but I can honestly say this lil critter is sooo hard to transform! I swear I even followed the instructions and still couldn't fully transform him and here is why.
Parts keep popping off, there is a section that is suppose to cover the head in jet mode that is initially in two parts that are to come together as one piece. Well I got those together, go to the next stage where you make his arms the from of the jet and those peices pop off. So I leave them off and work on the arms, which are a pain in the ass because the illustration doesnt fully show you exactly how they need to be postioned, I even looked online and it was difficult to get them into postion because of they way they are molded.
So I try for 10 min to get these arms to work, I spin this around, I move that around and I could not get them to go the way the instructioned showed. So, in a rare occurance in my career I put him back in robot mode and put him on the shelf.
Will I go back and try again? Sure, a true fan never gives up fully, but this time it will be during the day and without a headache. Would I suggest you buy him? Sure he's a great piece for collection, he looks great in robot mode and if I could get him in jet I'll tell you. By the way I havent tried combining him with my ROTF Prime, but I will, I will.
