Shattered Legacies Event 3, 2-4th September 2011
The Scarreth. An army of beastkin empowered by the god Death. Unstoppable. Numberless. Relentless. They have destroyed everything in their path so far.
Ambala, the city of heroes, now stands on that front line. As the city walls are breached and the struggling remnants of the army begin to fall, their only hope lies with the Knights of Ambala. Sent forth on a broken, dying vessel and with miles of enemy lines barring the way home, the Knights travel on a shred of hope with little more than a prophecy that the enemy they face cannot truly be defeated.
All this in the ruins of Zenith, the city in which the demon-god Dragon has been defeated twice and threatens to rise again, and gripped as it is by a furious golem civil war.
As the Knights cling desperately to a shattering hope, even the threat of the Scarreth is overshadowed by the oncoming End of All Things, the final in a series of cataclysms which will culminate in the utter destruction of the world. If ever there were a need for brave warriors, cunning mages and devout priests, if ever there were a need for heroes: that TIME IS NOW.

Shattered Legacies is a live roleplay system run by a dedicated team of members of the York University Science Fiction and Fantasy Society. Set in an active and responsive fantasy game world, players take on the role of heroic adventurers journeying forth from the frontier city of Ambala and into the dangerous wild-lands which lie beyond.
Crewing will involve a mixture of briefed NPC and monster roles from within the various factions currently in the ruined city named 'Zenith'. Be advised - there will be combat, and lots of it!
We will be charging £10 for crew, and we will be able to offer cooked meals and indoor sleeping as priority over players. You are welcome to bring a tent to sleep in if you would prefer.
