I have been surfing the net; reading what people are predicting is going to happen in Alias's not too far off episode, Horizon. Some of their "wishful" thinking is just too hilarious.
Sydney is reunited with Vaughn after being kidnapped and put in a hypnotic state in order to retrieve information from the depths of her mind. But unbeknownst to Sydney, her captor is a familiar face with a vested interest in Sydney's future and the future of her unborn child. Amy Acker and Elisa Leonetti also guest star.
That seems to be the official episode summary from what I've been seeing.
What I funny me is that people keep saying that Vaughn is going to turn out to be alive or they have some ridiculous guess of who Syd's captor with a "familiar face" is going to be (I've heard Vaughn, Jack & Dixon, and Irina...wtf?...well, I did hear that Jack & Dixon were in on some big plot that would "tear Syd apart"...hmmm...maybe they're on to something...).
I have feeling that her captor is just going to turn out to be Kelly Peyton (who is in the episode stills I've seen.) Obviously, she's going to put Syd in some sort of hypnotic trance in order to find out info. People are saying that since Vaughn is in the ep stills that he must miraculously not be decomposing in a coffin somewhere... uh...NO. C'mon people. If Syd has info, who do you think she's most likely to tell it to?? Vaughn. Obviously, they get Syd in a hypnotic state where she's living in a world in which Vaughn never died. Then it's up to faux!Vaughn to get Syd to spill her guts about something. It's a commonly used plot, you guys. Hell, I've seen it used on Stargate SG-1 a few times.
Then again, I've also heard that the twist at the end of the ep could be that Syd finds out that Vaughn may be alive somewhere....
But...
How the hell would Vaughn not be dead? He was shot like a bazillion freaking times! Who do you guys think he is? Super Man? To bring him back would just be totally lame (especially is they used the Helix Protocol as an excuse again). I think they've pretty much brought back enough people. Though, I do find it funny that Alias's ratings are plummeting. LOL, oh J.J., your leading lady is preggers and you killed the cute guy, what have you done? lol. I truthfully don't mind that Vaughn's dead (I do find some insane fangirls' reactions to his death hilarious though...gods, they're crazy.) but, dammit, I do miss the good ol' ass kicking!Syd.
BTW, who thinks Syd's baby is gonna be special in some way? (No! Not THAT way.) I meant special as in Rimbaldi-related. I have a feeling that the baddies this season are gonna want to kidnap Syd's baby in their "vested interest" (note the creepy baby room in one of the ep stills).
In other news...
Kitchen Confidential's scheduled marathon on FX has been cancelled and replaced with a marathon of Stacked. I actually sat down and watched an ep of that show.. Not impressed. I personally would've rather seen Michael Vartan and Bradley Cooper's supposedly hilarious reunion which was going to air with the marathon.
It annoys me that FOX can't make up their minds on whether or not to air it. It's supposedly going to air on Dec. 5th... Just watch them decide not to air it then and just cancel the show altogether... Dumb FOX execs. They cancelled Firefly too.
