Now everyone knows about Susan Boyle and I watched her auditions on youtube. If you haven't watched it, stop reading and watch the Video and then continue reading. Here's the link
www.youtube.com/watch What an inspiring story and a surprise ? I never heard of "I dreamed a dream" before and listening to the song for the first time by Susan Boyle was amazing ! I like both the song and her voice.
I don't know why but I always tend to support the underdog. Be it a game or a show, my support would always go to the underdog, because who know, it could be a source of inspiration. And that's that one thing, that has always fueled my life.
There are many around me, who has inspired me, to be better and to push my limits. More than anything I like the struggle , the fight, not with others but with yourself. A fight to test and challenge my limits and hope, one fine day I will break it.
Just like Bharathi said " Pala Vedikai Manitharai Pol, Naanum Veelven Endru Ninaithayo"
( Translation : Do you think I will fall, Just like all those funny men around ?? ), and I saw that in the video, when Susan Boyle sang.
And sometimes it bothers me when Kids around me take life granted. It's not that all have to struggle, but they have no idea how the fruit of success tastes like !!!
Once in a while things like this happen, to show the cynical world about hope, to dream, to have patience, to struggle, to challenge and to win ! And let it happen once in a while, for us to appreciate it and rejoice, for things happen for a reason !
I dreamed a dream in time gone by
When hope was high,
And life worth living
I dreamed that love would never die
I dreamed that God would be forgiving.
Then I was young and unafraid
When dreams were made and used,
And wasted
There was no ransom to be paid
No song unsung,
No wine untasted.
But the tigers come at night
With their voices soft as thunder
As they tear your hopes apart
As they turn your dreams to shame.
And still I dream he'll come to me
And we will live our lives together
But there are dreams that cannot be
And there are storms
We cannot weather...
I had a dream my life would be
So different from this hell I'm living
So different now from what it seems
Now life has killed
The dream I dreamed.
