One small step for man; one giant leap for mankind

Have you ever seen a half dead frog crawling in a pond and if you can imagine how it would look like, thats how it was when I was ice skating. If you think you are wise and can handle it the first time, sorry buddy, you are the first one to fall.

It seemed so easy for me to walk in my skating boots until I stepped inside the ice rink. My first step inside the rink, and there I go, straight down on the ice floor. And it hurts... I have never done roller blades or skating before. And I should have had someone to have helped me, but I wanted to see how it is on the ice rink. The biggest mistake I did. I couldn't get up, I couldn't control my feet and there I go again, the second time to the ground this time on my butt.

So with no control and no one to lift me up, I crawled just like a half dead frog back to the entrance and boy, it was funny. I should have stayed outside the rink. After few minutes of rest, this time I used the side walls to walk around the ice rink. It was even funnier then. It was a like a long trailer truck moving at 10 Miles when the speed limit is 70. And to my surprise all these 2 year old kids were skating so swiftly without any effort. There was a huge queue of skaters behind me and I leading the way step by step, like an ant.

These are the things which comes naturally to some but so hard on me. I can jump out of the plane, but when it comes to ice skating , I'm gonna think twice. I fall, I get up, I fall again. But I will skate someday, someday in snow, just like a hopping frog, someday.
