After shuffling what little was on the shelf in my closet and while lying in bed I realized that it wouldn't be a bad idea to move those plastic bins in the bookcase by the door to the shelf. I've been going through my bedroom closet this week. I haven't really done much with it in years. Generally the clothes I've been wearing these past several years I just lay out on a chair or on the stand that had until recently been parked in front of the closet.  The clothing in the closet is stuff I haven't worn since 2009 or so. Let's see, the other day my favorite dinner plate shattered. That wasn't much fun. It was 20 years old so I guess it had a good life. Vacuumed a good bit this week. The gasket in the refrigerator has finally been replaced.

It snowed most of the day Friday. It's nearly all melted as I write this.

Not much to be said this week. Oh well.

The mattress was picked up this morning. I didn't realize how smelly and dusty the thing was. Next week the box spring will follow and the week after that possibly the frame. Then maybe I can rearrange the remaining furniture to afford better access to the closets. There'll still be a great deal of furniture in there but without the huge bed there' ( Read more... )

Selling books is hard! I can find lots of places that'll do trades, where I give them my books and they give me other books. Trouble is I want to clear shelf space not change their contents. [sigh]

Hey all. I'm looking to clear off a shelf or two by selling the books on them. What are some good places that buy books in the Atlanta Metro area? I want to reduce the amount I'll be lugging with me the next time I move, which hopefully will be later this year or at some point in the first half of 2010.
