I've been meaning to post this for most of the year but never quite got around to it. I've made a number of visits to the doctor throughout the year and had a few health scares.
To the folks who made suggestions after my remarks about the leg pains: thank you! I started taking Magnesium with a few other things early in the year and it's made a world of difference. I'm still having the occasional leg cramps some mornings but not to the same mind numbing degree as I'd been having back from 2006 to 2010. The Magnesium also seems to really help my blood sugar levels.
Sadly, I've been placed on blood pressure medication. My blood pressure has always been a little high so I guess that was only a matter of time. Thankfully the medication the doctor prescribed is relatively inexpensive.
Late September I noticed a lump on the side of my chest which my doctor has identified as a lipoma. By all reports they're typically benign. He doesn't want to remove it at this time because they tend to come back in numbers if you don't get it all out. I'm really not happy about the thing but what can you do? Other than wear baggy shirts, of course.
