I don't know about other parts of the city but it's been raining really hard for most of the day. In the kitchen it sounds like the washer is running with the torrents coming off the roof. It's been awhile since I've seen a rain quite this severe.
Thought for today: Have you ever noticed that the folks who talk the loudest about morals and morality invariably haven't a clue what they're talking about? All too often the phrase 'immoral behavior' spouted like, the speakers own personal brand of morality, if morality it can be called, is a universal law, means simply that the behavior is something the speaker doesn't like.
Moral codes are worthless unless they're constantly tested and examined. There are very few things that fall under morality that can, and even should, be placed under the heading universal morals. Never mind that they're often things the wannabe arbiters of morality don't want to face up to.
