Joel Lane was a well-loved author in the fantasy/horror community. He died suddenly last year. I have read one of his books and a novella.

Hello Girfan, what have you read by Joel? I'm guessing the novella was The Witnesses Have Gone? (I co-wrote one short story with him, "Ashes In The Water". He was a dear friend to me.)

Thank you <3 I am pleased with it, and I think I'm starting to find my wordgroove. That snaketwist is a bit ziggyzaggy though - I'd like to learn how to smooth it into a more gently sinusoidal curve :-)
