Work and Anita
Firstly, happy (slightly belated) birthday to miss_mary_sue! ::hugs and smooches::
Secondly, I am now working at Borders customer care center. For the last three weeks I've been answering phones and registering borders rewards members. The call volume, unfortunately, has been as bad or worse than MSI was - ugh. Luckily (thank ALL THE GODS!) a position was available in the data entry department (no incoming phones) - and they gave me the job there. It's 75cents less an hour, but I'll stay saner longer. It's also a regular schedule, instead of completely random like it was before. I start that on Monday. (I'm still on phones today, and I have tomorrow off.) I had a panic attack last night about coming in today (because last week Saturday was the worst day) but I managed to make it in.
I'm rereading the Anita Blake series from the beginning now that I've read Micah. It's hard, because I don't really *like* Anita that much (at least not for that long a span) before Incubus Dreams because it feels like she's standing still for SO long. On the upside, I've finally managed to purge my mind of the pictures on the first several American release paperbacks - that awful skeletal Jean Claude and 80's!Anita. ::shudder:: So I'm hoping to get a fresh perspective on them.
I'm looking for any and ALL song recs for this series. I plan on going and scouring Laurell's blog for music mentions too.
