I will hopefully have the motivation to update this more often, but who knows if I really will or not.
I had noticed The Darkness was coming to Atlanta a few weeks ago and saw it was sold out; so I figured I wasn't going to be able to go, but 4 days before the concert I thought it would be a real fun show so I decided to try my best to get tickets to the show. I tried ebay and they were going for up for to 50-60 for one ticket. I ended up getting in touch with a guy who had 20 extra tickets and met him in person and for them for 25 a piece which is above face value, but not outrageous pricing. I called up my friend Vanessa who I hang out with as often as I can before she goes to New York for college, and asked her if she would be interested in going with me to the show and she had told me she was wanting to go to the show, but didn't know anyone that would want to go with her. So I end up picking her up and we get there when the doors open and get about 20 ft from the stage for the first band called The Wild Hearts. Between bands Vanessa said she is going to go get something to drink so I waited there for her for 10 minutes and started to wonder where she was; I figured she wasn't able to get back to where we were but was in the crowd so The Darkness starts and all hell breaks loose and I move up to about 4 people from the stage in the center - the entire time figuring Vanessa is somewhere in the crowd. The show is over and I find Vanessa and she tells me that she went to the bar to get a drink and she ends up passing out! She said she ended up in a back room with a guy and his girlfriend and she wakes up and the guy tells her she fainted at the bar and that he caught her and brought her to that room but did nothing to her. I was in shock; I felt so bad enjoying the concert while my friend is passed out in a room. She was only passed out for a minute, and was able to see the entire darkness performance, but I still felt so bad that I didn't even know. She is the type of person to not want to trouble others with whats going on with her. She said she did yard work and didn't have anything to drink all day, and that was most likely the reason she fainted - she had never fainted before. Anyway, here is the low-down of the show:
BTW: The is the first show where I have used my new digital camera so you should notice a great increase in the quality of photos.

Had heard they were kinda popular in the mid 1990s. I really enjoyed their show and was feeling their music and killer riffs, definitely cool.

Was a totally awesome show, really put on a good live show. Was very energetic the entire time, and Justin's voice was superb. Very good lighting, I was expecting for them to shoot out confety at the end though :(
