I am in shock!
O.K. I have been an internet user for about 13-14 years now, and I have got to say that while I expect a certain degree of stupidity from people online, I have recently been absolutely shocked by just how totally brainless some people are!
Case in point, the movie "300". It's based on historical facts about the Greeks and Persians. Specifically the 300 Spartans who fought at the Gates of Fire.. Spartans are not made up, they are a historic people.
More than a few people over at IMDB's Movie Forums seem to think that the film is racist because the "good guy" Spartans are white, and the "bad guy" Persians are African American and Arab...
I'm not kidding!

"I was enraged when i went into the theatre when i found out all the Spartans were white." (grammatical errors kept intact from the original).
Are people really this brain dead? Someone said that it was "a film to get everyone ready to go to war with Iran" and from what I can tell, he was being serious!
