so, i'm sitting at whoismelisa's house watching the news
apparently there was a boy waiting for the school bus this morning, in the terrible weather we had here... extremely cold, extremely snowy, extremely slippery. well, the boy got hit by a car, and dragged about 50 feet before someone came out and stopped the car by standing in front of it... the news reporter said that two factors that saved his life were the extreme slippery-ness of the roads and his bookbag with all his homework and books inside. the news reporter ended her story with "all the homework that he had saved his life."
then whoismelisa's daughter said, "don't tell that to my teachers!"
but... now i have a story to tell my students when they complain that they have too much homework:)
