After 2 weeks of pure ineptitude on the part of my apartment complex's IT guy, I am now back online and better than ever! I no longer have to hang my WiFi antenna out my dining room window to get a connection like I did BEFORE it went down for 2 weeks.

Here's to hoping it stays up!

School has been going really well. Classes seem like they're going to be less stressful than they have for my past few semesters, and I'm really involved in the music therapy association, jazz ensemble, and chamber ensembles.

I have a few gigs and recording sessions lined up as well.

First events first....
I have a gig on the 20th. I really have no idea what exactly I want to spin yet. Really, I don't. I'm the very last slot of a bunch of psytrance and psydub on Friday night... Technically, my set is after Rocket Radio way into Saturday morning.

Then on October 4th, the music therapy association is hosting a Gamelan naming ceremony, and I'm in charge of coordinating the hosting efforts.
The naming ceremony is a huge deal. They are naming the instruments and ensemble itself, with assistance from "experts."
It should come across vaguely like this with slightly less elaborate costuming and stage dressings:
