Sooo.. I'm going to have to do something re Dionysus tonight, I go carried away with painting as I've just started a new project of a Blythe doll, I've painted a similar one in oils previously but I'm attempting this one in acrylic for the hair and eyes and oils for the skin but I might start the skin in acrylic as a base, it's something I've wanted to try for some time so lets go full retard and attempt it on canvas.

While I fustrated myself with paint watched a great documentrary about a murder I remember reading about and following in the press, a man hooks up with a famous writer after the death of her husband then gets engaged to her then once he's in the will, he strangels her and chucks her in a well under the house, well done, what a lover huh! But as I like to ask those sometimes silly but unusual questions, I know everyone paints her a saint and this guy is obviously scum but what if she wasn't quite an angle herself? What if he was a battered man and bruised man? It's not like he wasn't already living the good life with her, he must have hated the shit out of her to do this..but it's all human nature right?

So Dionysus, yeah I'll do a little something something about that tonight, I really am out of my depth with this, I might need some Konstantinos advice on connecting with such things.. I found another resource of stuff, but I'm also a little concerned that i'm missing out on a lot of the deities and events that matter more to my darker nature on the calender, i need more hoodoo and voodoo stuff, black arts and what not.. Maybe I should have a Kenneth Anger day?

I'm gonna look up some of the African gods from an art project I found a few years back and work with incorporating those into the calendar, which is pretty heavily Greek/Roman and Gaelic at the moment
