[Edward sat on the ground, his metal hand clutched at his side as he panted harshly. He looked at the armor suspiciously.] You aren't really three brothers are you?
No no, you've really won this time. Good job kid. [48 doesn't sound terribly upset by his loss.] I still can't tell you. Destroy us and get lost.
Spare me the role of playing murderer. [Edward sucks in a sharp intake of breath, leaning his head back against the pillar. Blood trickles from his right temple and left cheek, dirtying his face and making it a little challenging to see out of his one eye.]
You're being too soft. Can you call us humans in these bodies?
[Edward sighs.] If I admit you aren't human, then I must also admit my brother isn't human. He is, and so are you. I don't want to kill.
[The helmet laughs heartily.] You wanted to know about the Stone? I'll give you a gift and tell you everything I know about it. I don't know much about alchemy, or the stone, but I know who made it. In other words, the ones who told us to guard this place.
WHO ARE THEY? [Edward shouted, regaining his strength as adrenaline kicked in.]
They are...[Two long spears suddenly pierce the helmet, breaking through the blood seal and silencing him.]
That was too close. You mustn't blab too much, 48. [A very attractive woman in skintight clothing comes in. There's an air of danger about the way she walks, the helmet speared on her fingers.]
Oh my...why's the Fullmetal shrimp here? [Her companion, a young looking man in skimpy clothing with long locks of hair sprouting from his head like a tree walks with his hands on his hips. He stops, smirking.] What to do in a situation like this! [His grin is nothing less than malicious. Edward is staring at them, mouth agape.]
What a troublesome boy. How did you find out about this place? [Lust has her hand on her hip, frowning.] I didn't want anyone to see this but too late now. [She tosses the helmet up and slashes it in half with her fingers. They seem to stretch into blades at her command. The younger brother sounds considerably panicked, insisting they can still fight if they had bodies. Her companion picks up the sword and stabs it into the blood seal. Edward is just staring, silently in disbelief.]
Oh shut up you nitwit. You were going to kill a precious sacrifice. Do you have any idea what you're doing? [He keeps smashing apart the blood seal until there is nothing left.] And you were going to tell them everything about us! How will you take responsability if the project is held up? [There is a pause.] Well?! Say something!
Envy, he's already dead.
Ah? What a wimp. Really, I hate it when they're weak. Oh yes. [He turns and smirks at Edward, sword slung over his shoulder menacingly. Then he drops it, point into the ground as he crouches down with a deceptively pleasant smile.] How do you do, Fullmetal shrimp? I'm impressed you made it this far but since you've seen something you shouldn't have...[He leans in close, the smile turning to an evil grin.] I guess I should kill you too.
You...[Edward forces himself to his feet, unsteady and throws a kick at Envy's head. The homunculus dodges, looking a little surprised.]
Oh my...The shrimp's getting violent. I don't like fighting, it hurts. [He scratches his head lazily.]
STOP SAYING SHRIMP! [Edward claps his hands together.] You started this! I'll take you on! [Suddenly Edward's automail hand just drops to his side. He looks startled.] ...Huh?
YIPPEE! [Envy raises his hands in the air in celebration looking absolutely ecstatic.]
Looks like an automail failure.
[With seamless transition, Envy steps forward and grabs hold of Edward's braid and slams his knee into his chest as hard as he can. Edward lets out a strangled cry as he coughs up more blood. Envy doesn't let go, he just holds him up by his braid.] I was kidding about killing you. You're lucky your arm broke down~ Since you got out of this without getting hurt too badly! [He smiles cheerfully and lets go of Ed's braid, letting him fall to the floor gracelessly.]
You're sure a lucky boy.
Don't you forget, we're letting you live.
[Edward lies motionless. There is talk of blowing things up. The camera shuts itself off though before it gets anywhere.]
Edward, 48, Lust, Envy.
