A minor product recommendation
I rarely find myself feeling the need to promote Windows software (that isn't a new game; which reminds me: Riftgame.com), but I saw a product this afternoon that I thought was cool enough to share.
Claymation Studio 3.0 Deluxe
It's got a very "child friendly" packaging, but the kit itself looks pretty cool for some of us adult-types. It includes a basic USB camera and a surprisingly feature-packed software package for doing basic stop-motion video at home. Including things like blue-screen'ing, audio-sync'ing, and "onion skin mode" (View previous frames in transparent overlay to help you capture or create the next frame/image).
Dead sexy. Must have.
[edit: There are, obviously, plenty of other packages out there as well - including some FOSS options - but this struck me as an unusually easy-to-use setup.]
