Wow. Has it really been that long since I have posted? Well, there are a lot of things I could have said in the last few weeks. Our kitten is doing great. She is growing like crazy, as most kittens do. She is now about twice the size she was, but twice as skinny too. When getting her booster shots last week she weighed 2.8 lbs. She started out at 2.2 lbs. so I guess that is why she looks so long and lanky.
She plays with anything we let her touch. A stuffed sock is one of her favorites since she can hang on and kick it. She will go crazy over anything string like. Our Wii sensor bar can attest to that, now chewed into about nine pieces. Aside from the very thin wire on that, she has left most other cord like things alone.
My sweetie and I finished the Stephanie Meyer series of books. I even read the half finished book that was posted on her web site. A rehashing of the first book, but from another character's point of view. I thought it would be rather repetitive when I first started, but it added a lot more dimension to the story world. Since we are talking about mythical characters here, it was rather interesting to see the story from their point of view.
We went to see the movie Twilight the Friday it came out. I knew it was too much to hope for that they would do as good a job with it as Harry Potter, but I was utterly unprepared for the shear magnitude of cheesy-ness of the movie. This was not the typical book to movie water down. It was actually and painfully a bad movie. Please do not judge the book by the movie. In fact, please do not watch the movie till you read the book! Still, they have green lighted another movie for the second book and will be getting a different director. Hope they do a better job.
The holiday was nice. I went to Crazy-A's for a Thanksgiving dinner with lots of friends. Thanksgiving day was the usual at my aunt's house. Absolutely delicious as always! It is always nice to see the big family :)
With some company at our house, we got into playing a bit of Wii again.
Raymond - Raving Rabbids is quite an entertaining game. But maybe I should leave that to the next post. This one is long enough! Warning - The games on the website are not anything like the crazy entertainment that the Wii game is.
