Birthday, This Weekend!
For those who missed my earlier post. Birthday this weekend, celebrating and partying 3 times over. Invites are extended to all, I would be quite happy if you could send a message or comment to let me know you're coming to either of these so I'm not very lonely at any of these events, thanks, Craig. :o)
Part 1 // January 5th // Saturday 3PM // Timezone and Bubble Tea // Free!*
30 minutes free games, first 10 people to make it to Northbridge Timezone will be paid for and will play for free, in the very unlikely event more then 10 people will be attending it will be $8 for any extra people. After the time is up we will migrate for bubble tea @ Utopia. If you don't like Bubble Tea or have no money for it, you fail but come anyway. ^^
Part 2 // January 5th // Saturday 10PM // Das Bunker
Assemblage 23 @ Sin, $44 from Moshtix outlets or around $50 on the door. Assemblage 23, one of the biggest synthpop acts in the EBM scene finally come to Perth and it should be one of hell of a night with support from Angel Theory and me drinking plenty. Note: This event is 18+
Part 3 // January 6th // Sunday Noon // Summadayze
Unless you've been living under a rock you should know about Summadayze by now. It's around $80 a ticket but worth it since it's going to be huge. I'll be arriving late thanks to a hangover from the previous night and I look forward to seeing quite a few of you there. Note: This event is 18+
Part 1: This will be interesting, despite willing to organise and spend a fair proportion of my money on something like this, I'm betting that a shitload of my close friends will be giving this a miss and I'm not being necessarily emo about it but it's a trend I've been heavily noticing over the past month in regards to all sorts of events I've been going too. What will be hilarious is that it will most likely be another Wai-Con with a lot of people I'm not really too close too but I find awesome coming along instead. ^^
Part 2: Carly, Mal and Roc(?), other then that, I find it incredibly bizarre to know a fair few EBM/Industrial heads to give this event a miss, seriously, wtf. This isn't going to stop me from getting very wasted and pretending to know the lyrics of their tracks. XP
Part 3: Liz promised we'd go together and there will be pills involved so I'm expecting to have quite a bit of fun even if it doesn't exactly scream my sort of thing and I'm going to be struggling to find other people on the day, not just because there's so few of them but also the size of this event too. I'm not mega excited about this event, especially with a hangover from A23 too but hopefully it'll be decent fun.
Oh and of course my real birthday on Monday, work and if I have the appetite, some cake too. Although some sex and Guitar Hero was seriously be awesome too though for a wish. ^^
