My life has been consumed by Neko Nation of course and on Saturday, February 5th the show went on the road. I remember picking up Susannah after what was one pretty interesting induction with PAWS, honestly it looks interesting, I'm keen to get involved and get some experience towards a goal that means more to me personally and for my career. Honestly, I was quite excited till so much has happened which I'll get too, which means I'll barely be spending time there I think.
Picked up Susannah from the airport, despite being stressed out from the rush, it was awesome and incredible to meet her, we all got along really well and despite the fear of potentially having no way to entertain her for the whole trip, it looked like it wouldn't be the case. After Milleh left for work, we had a good chat about her project and her life and I found myself having a lot of respect for her.
Neko Nation was the next day and with a delicious Ikea breakfast and exploration, we were motivated for the epic day, I must admit I managed to get everything done a lot calmer then usual despite the hugeness of this occasion, thank god for over packing and over preparation, a skill I'm far from used too! Kerry Anne and Saccharine just looked absolutely stunning and I knew this even was going to be a blast.
We arrived at Bar 138 and slowly our staff trickled in and it was a nightmare to get everything done in time and the start of the night saw lots of screaming and abuse towards other from my end, due to the rush and panic I was in. I tried running the event from the decks for the first three hours, not something that was much fun at all. DJing was interesting and fun, being the first time I played in front of a crowd, there were so many awesome highlights and in particular playing Caramelldansen to the place and seeing the whole place Caramelldansen along was just insane, it's something I will never forget. I had a blast but I seriously couldn't wait for the three hours to be over so I can be with all the others.
The night was amazing and insane, I probably didn't get to hang out or talk to as many people as I wanted since I was running around and sorting things out a fair bit but I certainly had a blast and my god was the place starting to fill up and it looked like I was in for a successful night. There were so many fun things that happened on the night which I will never forget, I've honestly never had such an amazing night out and I knew the event was a success when I saw the smiles on people's faces and not when I counted up the money later in the night, (although we made enough to do it again!).
The last song played was Still Alive and I remember me and Saccharine singing along together on film, one minute later, we turned around and the whole crowd was waving their hands and singing along with us, I was so close to tears that something this magical could happen and when we had the group hug at the end, I was overrun with job, it was one of those truly amazing moments that you can never plan or imagine. This is the sort of stuff I will always look back on.
We celebrated with some champagne and I went to bed happy with what I had achieved.
The rest of the week, well, that's a story for another time I think, it was an up and down rollercoaster filled with a lot of highs and lows and some amazing moments and feelings that I've never felt before but in the end it lead to me and Milleh breaking up. We had very different aims, visions and goals in life and we honestly felt we were constantly getting in each others way of this, Milleh is a bit lazy when it comes to working hard and pushing towards achieving goals, projects and dreams. While on my end, I'm too cold hearted and self-sufficient towards Milleh's need to be completely harmonious with all her friends. We both need to be need to be by ourselves and not together to achieve this.
From my end, the week after this break up has been amazing, with me and Saccharine combining our forces together in regards to our businesses, I can go on and on about this but in short, I'll be doing stuff on her business such as accounting and website design plus working on Neko Nation Perth, Hairlucination. While she'll be helping a lot with marketing and logistics, plus running Neko Nation Adelaide and Saccharine Desolation which I'm so excited to see. Having found someone like her is amazingly inspiring since I've finally found my dream business partner and I'm finding I can achieve a lot of my goals having just met her and it's the same back.
In the rest of my life, so many jobs literally want a piece of me so I've been maniacally busy with numerous jobs but textbooks need to be paid, Neko Nation makes money but most of it is currently being spent on the next two as well, which me and Saccharine are so excited about. Plus I've got uni to get back to soon, I'm totally not used to the idea of going back to uni but hey if I study and do the work I'll be fine in no time, I'm looking at you, the 95% of students that don't do study or do all their accounting homework and complain the unit is too hard! I ran a business and worked 2-3 jobs last year, there's no excuse!
As for Milleh, I'm hoping we can remain friends, I hold no grudge against her although I'm enjoying my time away from her but craving to see her soon to settle a few final things. Right now she is my ex but in time I hope to see her as my friend once again, there's things that we just couldn't make work as lovers but plenty that can work as friends though.
My life is just so blissfully perfect right now though, I'm finally feeling as though I'm getting somewhere in my life and it's so amazing. :)
