Time for a quick update while I can stand it.
Everything for my final film ('Cognominis') seems to be going swimmingly.. I'm still waiting for footage to get back so I can finish picture-locking, but I'm starting some sound stuff today and am uber-excited about it.
The plumbing situation at my apartment continues to amaze me. Earlier last week the toilets just up and overflowed without provacation -- for the second time. This is probably mainly due to my realtor refusing to call an actual* plumber and instead having foreigners (who are probably currently at the immigration rally downtown) deliver a handful of wash cloths and two rolls of paper towels to me when my toilet is overflowing with sewer water. Both bathrooms are out of commission, which means scheduling my day around where I could possibly use a bathroom. Glad I pay $800+ a month for that.
Thanks to theblarg, I've been faggin' it up in every elevator in Chicago (and getting caught). Full-on dancing. My bastardization of your opening shimmy would make Shakira proud.
I'm not sure if I have any finals this semester? Well okay, I do. Or did. Either way; finals? Non-issue.
I'm going to be stressing pretty hardcore in the next week or so to get my film edited and finished on time, but I think it will all turn out vrry vrry well in the end. Once that's all wrapped up, I can start figuring out what I'm doing with my summer. Besides living in Chicago, that is.
I need a job.
