The ups and downs
These past couple of weeks have been interesting. Emily and I have been spending as much time as we can together, about every other weekend. It had been going very well.... We went up to San Francisco for a couple of days to meet some of her family up there, but things didn't go so well. We're going to take a break and give each other some space for a while. I'm pretty sad about it... I do like her a lot, but these past few days have been completely shit.
The iPhone 3G was released today. I went to the store at 10:30am, expecting the line to be minimal by then, but as it turns out that was pretty much when the line was at its longest. The guy said the wait was only going to be an hour and a half when I got there, but uhm... yeah... SEVEN AND A HALF HOURS LATER, I walk out of the store with my new toys. I picked up a white iPhone 3G 16GB and a Macbook to replace my current laptop and to let me program some stuff for the iPhone and iPod touch. Since I'm a student I also got a deal and got a free printer and a free iPod touch 8GB. No, I'm not really a student. :) The guy that was helping me out was very nice though!!
I'll write up a review of the iPhone and let ya know if it was worth waiting in line for SEVEN AND A HALF HOURS.
