Work and Peace
One of the great things about therapy is that an outsider assesses your issues without your baggage. I have finally resolved my special order angst! I am very pleased as this is a major step forward in enjoying my business again.
I now work on special orders 1 day a week. That allows me time to work on the show stuff and the art stuff without feeling pressured that I *have* to do it. Most liberating. I may even get stuff done faster now that I'm not so tempted to procrastinate it. I have also made peace with my self-financing of special orders. That means that while I still don't take deposits for most items I don't beat myself up so much for not ordering supplies for them if my money server is offline until the next show.
My cats were hilarious yesterday. My older cat has a tail and my younger cat wants it. Badly. This usually ends with Andromeda heading ass over teakettle towards the other side of the house as Horation sniffs and stalks away. You can almost hear him saying "kids these days. . ."
