Dear cyberabadWe've decided to have an LJ meet this weekend. Some of you have been expecting it, some of you already knew, but still, you have my apologies for the lateness of this post

It's been time to move out of Mocha for ages now. :)
Your arguments are good, but fall short to a small extent. Probably one crucial point you missed was the fact that the community is not even fractionally as enthusiastic as it once used to be able to boast about (Remember the days when we used to be the most active LJ community , they've long faded.) :(
With enthusiastic members, you can take a risk with far flung locations. With a good number of people, even far-flung places become reachable to the reluctant ones if you have enough of an active crowd. Unfortunately, even once-upon-a-time regulars from the past have turned into workaholics who stare at Screens flashing MS Outlook into their eyes. :(
LJ does not pay. Neither for the meets, nor for the transportation, and definitely not for their time. They won't show up till they lighten up once again. :(
psychog and I have both been frustrated about Mocha, but the statistics prove that Mocha helps to pull in the crowd. Central location, Relative safety, decently comfortable surroundings, option for open-air or claustrophobic seating, etc. We do try different spots sometimes, but with hardly any success.
All this said, I do agree with you on a fundamental level. Mocha is monotonous!! BIG TIME!
What we need is some influx of new blood in the community. New blood that makes an effort to be active. cyberabad has gone more offline than online. It used to be the other way once, and I truly miss that.
Most of the Maintainers (read: All!) don't even visit the community or at least that's my understanding. How about we get back into being regulars and actively work toward kicking some life back into cyberabad's genetics? I know you, and I know you're well capable of ruling the roost. This comment of yours shows you still have it in you to release bolts of energy charges. :))
OMG dude, you're incredible. You just said everything that i wanted to (but was too sleepy to type) and more. If the force be with me, i'm never gonna let you die. Infact i am gonna buy you from ur folks. I will never have to talk/type long then.
oh btw, if you ARE being sold, kindly leave the two rabids behind. You can take it as a request from your future owner if it pleases you.

As for honouring your request, I'll only be able to do that once I'm sold. Right now, the current owner has allthe say. :)
