There have been no hurricanes/ice storms/floods/snow storms. I still have electricity. It is an awesome beginning to a great day! Last year, I had this friday off, too. But things went terribly wrong, and my birthday plans were ruined.
So today, I am about to go get my car tuned up, rotated, oil changed etc. Then I am going to pick up some stuff at the pharmacy. Then I am going to finish up my Christmas shopping. Then I am going to have a dreamy lunch with me and a book. After that, I am heading downtown, where I am going to buy birthday presents for myself. Other than the 50" plasma that I just bought. I have been especially good this year, and I don't have anyone else to buy me awesome presents... so I have to take care of that myself! Plus, I haven't bought myself anything at all really for a long time, besides that new TV (which goes in the room the kids use most anyway). I need everything; foundation garments, skin care, a new fragrance, some new outfits. I want a pair of monk strap shoes. I need a new wallet too.
And now I have to go.
