oh gosh
So I work in the North Creek business park area of bothell. It rained a lot a couple of days ago I hear. So my work was not accessible because of flooding. I had Monday off and it was awesome. I got most of my shopping done, and the decorating, too. All without the kids to "help". Best day in months.
But you know, both of my sisters had a problem because of that rain. Sister one has water in her crawlspace. Not good. And sister two has had to move out of her house and in with my mom. First of all... you don't know my mom, but YIKES! The only upside is that my mom is really good in a crisis, so she will be fine. But sister two's insurance company told her she might not be fixed up for six months. SIX MONTHS!!! There isn't anything I can do about any of this, and that feels bad to me. My mom is lucky though. She has just been rambling around that empty house for the last couple of years. Sister two is really a TON of fun. I would like it if she moved in here, really. I will offer, but I don't think she would like to live with my three (sometimes four) kids full time for six months. There goes the free babysitter.
So that is my Storm 07 story. There better not be another one. My birthday is in ten days, and I have plans for the 14-16th just like last year. I am seeing Dina martina on the 14th, and so should each and every one of you.
I am spending the rest of the weekend in leavenworth, which is my tradition. You should also come and do that. I have room in the car. What are you waiting for?
