It's true.
Ya know, I used to think that it seemed kind of selfish that God created us to worship Him, but I was thinkin bout it the other day. God didn't have to create us, He didn't have to give us free-will. He didn't have to care enough to take on the form of a man and live as we live, He was tempted as we are tempted. He lived a perfect life and died on the cross for our sins. He didn't have to do that.
He created you specifically for the place that you are in. Whatever plan He has for you, you are the best person for the job.
Everything God does is for our benefit. He knows the best paths for our life, the ones that give us more happiness and fulfillment than anything else possibly could. If we trust and lean on Him he will guide us.
He wants you to be happy!
Romans 8:31-32 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
