Birthday Plans
Okay guys. Courtesy of an Elektrowerkz mailing I've just decided what I'd like to do in terms of Birthday plans:
My birthday is on December 20th. The previous day, Friday the 19th sees a 3 floor electronic music extravaganza at Elektrowerkz, with a floor being hosted by the Aphex Twin (ooooh! Yay!). Also in attendance (amongst many others) are u-Ziq whom I understand are rather good.
I do believe the e-mail in that this event will sell out fast. It's early days I know but if i can get some numbers together I may be able to get some tickets reserved. Safest bet though will be to call up and book yo' selves.
Weekend was good. Found myself once again at the gates of Slimes. But hey, how can one turn down a night out with friends? Especially when free: Entry, Nowt. Booze, Gift. Travel, late but courtesy of travel card, finding yourself at Slimelight for the 8th week plus uninterrupted, priceless.
Had a productive session with the band yesterday. Can't honestly remember working with people before as being so fun, amicable, democratic, and dammn productive. Got a good feeling about this one. Oh yes.
Feeling generally brighter about myself, which is good news as my best friend is having a very rough time at the moment.
Many of you know Hayley. Words fail in describing how much she means to me and how much I love her. We are absolute partners in crime (T.U.R.T.L.....whoops, never mind...) and to see her so upset over her recent split with her Finace upsets me deeply.
I want to be with her right now, helping her, but I'm at least 3 hours away and that feels like a very big distance. I'd just like to ask if you chaps in Nottingham could keep an eye out for her, on my behalf. She could really use some humanity in her life right now. God I miss her.
Anyway gonna re-string my guitar tonight I reckon. R.O.C.K. Yeah.....
