Took my new track into work today, and by Christ it slams like a fukker! Managed to get sub-bass bleed through into the edit suites, something that shouldn't theoretically be possible. He he :)
Anyhow, this Wednesday night will be the first time I've worked on a track with band-members for maybe two years. It is giving me so much enthusiasm and energy for life it is unreal! It really feels like I'm personally moving my life forwards, even if my career is mildly screwed right now.
Slightly concerned at how I'm going to pull next weekend off. I'm engineering at Slimelight on Saturday night for two VERY big name acts. Something I can't turn down a:For the opportunity and b:For the cash. However, Sunday morning I'm assisting in a load-in and setup with work. In a church. In Tooting.
Crashing over at
silky_fish's on Sasturday is gonna help enormously. Non the less it'll be a challenge. Planning on lots of sleep through the week, and Pro-Plus and Red Bull on Sunday morning!
Meh. Things are going (partially) where I want them to right now, which is giving me hope. A wonderful commodity to be in posession of!
