I really can’t imagine James being awkward about it, even if I guess others think it’s more realistic. But here, at least, since he first thought Sirius might fancy him, he was much more likely to take the news well, wasn’t it? Plus, it had given him time to get used to the idea of Sirius being gay. Peter was more shocked because of the way he found it out, of course… (It amused me to write that, too. ^^)

So cute, yes... I kept on thinking it while I was writing - they really are the cutest couple in the world. ^_^ I just love imagining scenes like those for them. And to think I started with only one line ("The only person I want to be with is you") and a vague idea of what should happen in the sweetshop at the end... Those were my sister's ideas, and I built the fic on them, often without knowing well what I would write in the next chapter. Now I wonder whether I will ever be able to write something about them again. I can't imagine their story differently after that.
It's definitely better to read Change of Heart before, although some people read it afterwards and didn't seem to mind. Others have read only one or the other, too... I think I shocked a few people who had read Change of Heart when I said that the new fic I was writing was a Sirius/Remus. (A friend of mine told me it's the Lily/James that "clashes" on my page, though - since it's the only fic that's not a Sirius/Remus. lol)

^__^ I knew you would be interested in reading this too! ^^ Actually, I had written it before A New Beginning, that I added later as a birthday present for my friend Akari, author of the fics I translate from Italian to French.
I found the idea of James thinking that Sirius had a crush on him very funny too. It started with a kind of RPG with my sister. It made me laugh a lot, so I started imagining a story based on it. And on the idea of the sweet shop I used in chapter 8 (that was one of my sister's ideas too). The rest was almost entirely improvised while I was writing, even if I had a vague idea of what I wanted to put in each chapter when I started.
lol Yes, Peter spying on James and Lily... I thought it would amuse the readers as much as me. ^^
English is much more easy to learn for a French speaking person than French is for an English speaking person. First, English is everywhere, so here you hear songs in English even before you can speak your own language. I started singing English songs long before I knew what the words meant (and even before I was able to sing the real words - I just tried to keep close to the sounds I heard but it certainly didn't make sense at all lol). Then the grammar is much less complicated (a lot of French people can't even write their own language correctly - sometimes I beta for French authors and, really, it's...scary how they can't spell the simplest words). And I learned English with a correspondence course after I left school, so I had nothing else to study at the same time, which made it easier. I had learned Italian that way too right before. At school, I learned Dutch (because I'm Belgian, and Dutch is one of the official languages here) but I've never been able to make more than a few simple sentences, and I don't understand much. So don't feel stupid or anything because you can't understand French very well. It's just normal.

Sirius/Remus seems so natural it's very different from other kind of slash, isn't it? I'm not sure I could write any other slash pairing, although I'm willing to read practically anything as long as the author is good. I really have to believe it's possible, and only Sirius/Remus seems totally believable to me in the Harry Potter fandom.
