Heart pounding in my head
So close
And yet so far
Found myself
Yet I am still lost
Somethings missing
And Im on my own again
Alone
A breath of loneliness
A cold kiss on my cheek
As it wells up inside
Emotions flooding in
Feeling lost in my own room...

Pitt-er, Patter
As the rain drops
Smash into the pavement
Cold and Silent
Beyond the faint splashing
Tear drops falling
With the same story to tell
Colliding to the page
Clammy breeze,
A blood curdling scream
Heart pounding with every beat
As the rain plummets,
Harder on the earth.
