I got to play around with big toys in turnout gear today (fire jacket, pants, and helmet) =]
Today was my auto extrication lab. I cut a door off, and made a new door (cut the passenger side of a hatchback). We all cut the top off of a station wagon, and when we were carrying it back to put it on, I smacked my shin on a hunk of metal hanging off of the car. It didn't break the surface, but I have a pretty good bruise going for me.
I got to use the jaws of life, cutters, pneumatic chisel, and the saws-all. Basically the saws-all is a jigsaw on steroids. It was sweeeeeet.
I'm taking FIRE 100 next quarter I think =]
