happy cockatiel flock integration day!
New things! Tevis is entirely moved in, and it is more or less the same, except that now we aren't wasting time and gas driving back and forth every few days. Our shelf-space crisis in the library has worsened, but with our newly acquired free time, we are working on that. He sure has a lot of math books.
Also newly acquired are a pair of DS Lites. Back in August, my much-loved DS (and all its games) were stolen on a plane ride, and I spent a while mourning this loss before deciding that I did actually want to replace the system. Since DS Lites are now going out of fashion, they were on clearance, and I picked up one for Tevis as well. We kitted them out with some Gelaskins, and now I can nostalgically introduce Tevis to my very favorite video games, and play cooperatively. Mine is the rainbow one, his is the one with the whale.
My new cockatiel, Lor, is also entirely moved in. Today Tevis and I moved his cage from the basement to our room, and he and Enyo got to hang out for the first time. It's a little more crowded with a second cage in here, but they are already inseparable.
