Overdue news:
Well, I'm back to wishing days had at least 72 hours. I still haven't find the time to properly update and comment yet. And it feels like ages since I had online time. Wait...it's really been ages?!
Aside that I'm OK just, got ill for a month, fell in my mother's staircase so, I had gorgeous rainbowy bruises. By extra-luck, I didn't kill or injured myself -bruises aside- in anyway but, I still dunno how I made it out alive and unharmed. I guess my guarding star and her friends were watching over me that day.
Then my mum got stung by a bee, had to take her to hospital. Luckily, she got stung while I was visiting (which isn't every day or week, for what matters). Then my cousin came over from Paris with her first born, he's sooo cute and baby babbling and alert already. it was good to see them all. Speaking of, mum fell (baby carriage bump 'cause they can be dangerous like than. Even when it's basically just you and said device on a 2 lane deserted road). Nothing major but it happened the day before her heading to Paris. I was kinda worried she couldn't make the trip.
I'm currently overbooked with rehearsal and last minute's concerts. Remember that national music fest with one outdoor concert they wanted us to do? Well, turns out they want us on two now. Which means: not very much time to work up new songs while juggling all that in an already tight agenda 'cause lots of things in june. Dunno when I'll even sleep, I'm tired and stressed because had a lyrics memory loss on last rehearsal but well... won't complain. It's sunny out there (when not heavy rain pouring), I'm feeling rather good and, oh yeah, also had to princess a bit but, it's worth it. On a personal and spiritual level if not financially.
The hunt for a job still runs flat but at least now, I get interviews. I'm still worried about this to the point that I'm thinking of flunking my CV big time since everybody tells me I'm too experienced and such. Oh yeah, and I also started an online translation thing with a swiss friend. We're just building it slow so, no money out of it yet but, slow-steady-surely is my new motto.
Saw Sex&the City 2 with friends to have a good time and, that I did. Won't say how I feared the clichés of NYC fashionistas meet Abu Dhabi aka oriental culture but, let's just say I feared with reason. I'd never thought european me would say that but this was irrespectful, vulgar, and for some parts plain irrealistic. This is for the cultural aspects. The other thing that made me tingle is the impression to be in a 2 hours-ish giant marketing ad for clothes & home design. In the land of Movies & Product placement Sex & the City 2 made the James Bond license look like Snow White.
Finally bought & watched the Confessions of a Shopaholic along with 4 other movies. only one french in the lot 'cause... did I mention I really, really miss Paris just for the un-dubbed US movies? Well, I really do. So, DVDs & streaming are my new heaven. Also managed to watch NCIS, Bones & House finales. With all my ships at their best, just loved it.
On a more musical note (haha!) was invited by vocal coach to various councerts as audience but it was enlightening. And totally OT, bought myself ruby 3/4 satin gloves. 'cause I'm testing stage looks and, right now, the retro vamp's growing on me. Must be the Caro Emerald effect.
Woops! Talk about babbling. Well... I guess that's all for me. What about you?
Missed you. Miss my online friends. I hope you're allright and that life's been kind to you so far. ***tight mindhugs you***

PS: Terri Clark's "Long way from home" is just awesome. Took me a month to have it just imported from the US but, wait was worth it. :D
