Did I already do this?

I don't remember if I officially announced yet. So:

It's that time again. After last year's epic win I am now (slightly) less crazy to announce to you all that I am officially participating in Nanowrimo 2009!

And you should be too!

Ah-ah! I don't want to hear it! I'm crazy busy myself!* The hours I have slept this past week are below 20. I have so much homework I want to curl up into a ball and suck my thumb. It's not going to get much better by November -- final projects starting, working on shows, continuing to officiate the Arabic club, going back and forth between Santa Fe and Albuquerque, wedding planning, eating (maybe), sleeping (really big maybe), helping out the theatre guild, acting classes -- I am exhausted just typing that list and now I'm really afraid of November. But...

Join me on the quest brave adventurer! Why not throw something else on the pile? At least it's something fun. And when it stops being fun then you grit your teeth and think about how you'll rub it in the face of your enemies when you finish. You know, if you have enemies. After I won the writing high made me want to write some more. Then I came to my senses. But in all seriousness it changed my outlook on a lot of things and I think I have taken more risks because of it.

The website is relaunching today so expect maintenance issues. But make an account ASAP and then be my writing buddy.

*The only person excused is Kellikins because of med school owning her life. And I guess it's bad form to write your novel instead of taking notes in A&P because your future patients will not care that you wrote a book if you reattach their spleen wrong.  Maybe.

And Kellikins, would you be able to be my coach again?
