Rules
o1: No OOC drama. Please always keep in mind that sometimes people become emotionally attached to their characters, and you should be careful of what you say in conversation because it may hurt someone's feelings. At the same time, be sure to realize that in the game not every character is going to like yours, and don't take an in-game rejection as a personal insult from another player! If you ever feel that another player has disrespected or insulted you, please tell the mods right away and we'll try to make things better.

o2: You must be at least sixteen to play in CXXIV.

o3: The character limit is seven. If you have seven characters, please do not apply for more, or drop some if you want to bring in new characters.

o4: CXXIV gives you a chance to rewrite history, but please keep in mind that we're set nearly 2000 years in the past. Your character should never make references to modern inventions or use absurd slang! While a minor use of slang is okay - we're sure not everyone spoke in extremely formal tones - make sure it's appropriate and not entirely far-fetched and out of place. Use your discretion to keep the game both believable and fun at the same time.

o5: The mods have the right to remove anyone from the game who causes problems with the other players. This is an extreme measure of course, and anyone in danger of removal will be warned fairly beforehand to shape up.

o6: All scenes containing adult content must be locked. This chiefly applies to scenes that contain sexual content.

o7: Stay active! All of your current characters must be in at least two scenes a month, or participate in one scene and make a journal entry each month to be considered active. If you have an inactive character for two months, the character will be removed from the game. Of course, if you have have a very good real-life reason why you've been inactive, please tell the mods and your case will be considered.

o8: If you leave the game or are removed and decide you want to return with the same character or a different character, you must reapply the same way you did the first time. If the character you had has been taken by a new player, you can't reapply for that character. Otherwise, your application will be considered fairly and chances are you will be accepted again.

o9: Although it may have happened in Roman times, sexually explicit scenes containing young children are absolutely forbidden in CXXIV. All characters in sexual scenes must meet the current age of consent.
