Phone
For a while now I've been carrying both a work phone and a personal phone due to policies at VT. I've finally reached the point where this is becoming annoying and I figured I'll just give in a use only one phone. The problem I now face is that Verizon is my favorite carrier due to coverage (it's about the only service that works everywhere on campus) but they have only one phone, the Samsung i760 which seems to even remotely fit my needs of a phone with wi-fi, a decent browser and Exchange support. In fact, something with a browser of the level of the iPhone's is more important than the Exchange support. What do other people have? I'm wondering if trying to get a G1 will be worth it, but after looking at T-Mobile's sparse coverage map it isn't reassuring. Anyone in Blacksburg use T-Mobile? Signal strength and coverage also make me worry that the iPhone wouldn't be the best option or I'd just go get one. The last complication is that we have two phones and combined billing with Verizon, along with free mobile to mobile calling, so switching carriers would necessitate a pretty good deal.
