It's late, so why not post?

Follow up: I have broken my little helicopter a few more times but I've either learned to fly better or learned to glue better (probably the former). The big helicopter will probably have to wait given the news below.

New news:
- Maybe we'll buy some land and build a house sometime a year or so from now. Of course, that hasn't stopped us from looking at all kinds of land and houses now. David James Homes has a number of stick built house styles for what seem to be reasonable prices. Time to get on the ball and stick to a budget. Eating out is one of our biggest issues. I also need to get some projects done in this house, like putting 92 feet baseboard along the basement wall as well as tearing up the cheap flooring that was put in the kitchen just before the house went on the market. It has shrunk and is all warped. This house was always a stopgap when I had late paycheck and job change issues and it looks like we're starting to get near the point where we're thinking of doing something. Maybe. :)
- Sam has been sick a lot which means I've been staying home with him a lot. I have significantly more leave available than my wife, in fact more leave than I can carry over to next year not counting what I'll use for the December holidays. It doesn't really help my productivity though, as Sam barely gave me enough time to check my email and eat.
- Anna has been very, very good about some things and fairly bad about other things. All in all she's amazing. :) (<-- proud father)
- I still haven't gotten back on the bandwagon with exercising, as the whole family has been sick, including days of hacking coughing which is still lingering.

Why am I up this late? With a trip to Portsmouth and days of Sam being sick I didn't get my work done for the course I'm taking, which meets Wednesday afternoon. I just finished it, but of course I'm wide awake because all I did for most of the day and evening was hold a fussy, bored, hungry baby.

sick, house, baby, toys
