Done with the fire academy (or fire island as some called it)
SO guys, I am done with fire island and back to my normal shifts. You know the 24 hour shifts and only working nine days a month. But the sad part is that we are short paramedics, so being that i am a paramedic I get to be manditoried to work shifts! If I was only a lonely firefighter that woudlnt happen, but I am both a firefighter and a paramedic and there must be a certain number of paramedics at each station. Its hard to explain but that is the jist! So I am off till the 29th then I am back to shift. I have work a bunch of overtime already since I got done with fire island...about 48 hours now I think in the last week!
I also got a new Truck! I got sick of my car, and yes I know it was only 15 months old, but I wanted a truck again! So if you look under my myspace comments, my roomie has posted a picture of me and my Brand new truck! It is hot and FULLY FUCKING LOADED....lets just say this, the only other options I had were the DVD player and navigation system and I coudlnt get those becuase of the sun roof. I guess they go in the vicinity of the sunroof and I wasnt' going to do without the sunroof. So other than that my dogs are happy I am home! And my roomie is happy I am home. I am thinking about partying tonight but who knows what will happen.
Oh another thing...for the past year I have been trying to get in contact with my cousin who was my best friend from like 5th grade to 8th grade when I moved up here we lost touch! Today my younger bro. sent me a message that he had added my bro to his myspace. SO I am going to try and get in contact with him and catch up on life! He live in chicago so maybe its time for a trip so we can hang out for a few days? We will see...NICK are you going to come with since you can fly anywhere for free????
