All this time, how could you not know?

There are so many little sayings that one knows with their unconscious memory to be true, things like "All you need is love" and whatnot, and yet, it can take you years, decades even, to truly understand with all of your heart and soul what that saying actually means.

Today, I think I came across a great understanding. It is the solution to all of my unhappiness, past, present, future.

Trust and acceptance. That's it. All I need is for you to trust and accept me. Likewise, I need to learn to trust and accept you.
