What a week!

Where have I been for a whole week then?

Saturday - Tuesday:

I worked then went straight up to my friend's house in Norfolk on the Saturday night. There are 4 of them there; Mark (Best Man), Krista and their two sons Jack and Thomas. Jack was acting up a bit but generally ok, little Thomas is really tiny but just walking - was dead cute but got ill. We were there through to Tuesday morning with Mark and I getting splattered on Beer and Debs getting completely sozzled on wine in the evenings. Krista was being the "sensible" one, but then again she don't need alkyhol! Journey home on the Tuesday was interesting. I gained D&V at some point in the holiday which decided to manifest itself as we left at about 8am! We had to stop every half hour or so for me to chuck up! Ah well. Slept the afternoon when we got in then was generally not well through Wednesday...

Wednesday:

Valentines Day... Sick as above and ate very little. Still managed an ok day though, spent nice time with Debs and got her breakfast and lunch almost in bed (insisted on getting out of bed to eat). Unfortunately Deb's pressie from America not here yet.

Thursday:

Ate a bit, went to work, came home. Debs went to cinema with her brother and saw Hot Fuzz - I was gonna go but still not able to sit still for more than an hour. Or at least, sit still on a chair that doesn't flush.

Friday:

Yay, eating as normal! After work took Debs to cinema and saw Music and Lyrics - actually dead good. Then saw Hot Fuzz - GREAT!!! FANTASTIC!!! Debs was very happy to see it again. Very funny film, same people as Shaun of the Dead.

Saturday, today:

Spent day with Debbie tidying house. All good - needed doing. Both of us have a cold now, sore throat and runny noses - I want to be well again!!! Arrrgh!

Overall not a bad week. I go through phases like this anyway, healthy for months then sick for a couple of weeks in a row, same as anyone. Just irritating that my whole journal so far has been a bad line for being ill!

hot fuzz, comedy, movie, holiday, sick
