is particularly apt if you happen to be on benefits, because the bastards suspend them until they decide whether the voluntary work is acceptable or not. Needless to say, they don't inform you of this beforehand, so I'm going to be without money for 2 weeks or so unless I can sort something out. Great timing. I think the solution is going to be "stuff the voluntary work" but I'll see. So much for the Big Society....
Addendum - bloody DWP don't know their arse from their elbows. Told to go to jobcentre to get form. Jobcentre tell me no such bloody form. Wasted busfare that I can't afford to waste.
