Back from Vacation!!!
2 weeks is never enough...however, it did feel like we were gone a month. Alas, my lottery numbers didn't hold up in TN. Virginia was beautiful...
Mt. Vernon was humbling...to see the actual tomb of G. Washington made me cry. I'll never forget his home.
Williamsburg was cool
Washington DC was done over the course of two days. The Lincoln Memorial was awesome. Coming out of the memorial I found myself on the very step MLK stood when he gave his Dream speech. Goosebumbs on that.
The Washington monument was way too cool.
Smithsonian buildings...Hope Diamond...I was in the presence of half a billion dollars....WAY TOO AWESOME.
VA Beach was out of this world. Ocean was beautiful.
Then up to Crisfield MA and watched the boats come in from catching crabs....
