Managed to break the 205 barrier today, so was delighted and, I admit, a little wary. The weight it a-comin' off, but at kind of a crazy rate. I hope it's just my body suffering shock from the stepped-up exercise. Today I made it back up to 400 calories on the elliptical, plus nearly my full lifting routine (minus the triceps--ouch!).

After, I went to my first-ever yoga class, which lasted an hour. I've had several friends over the years suggest yoga, but I've always been too busy. I could use a little relaxation, though, so I gave it a shot. What a stretchy workout it was!

So, I'm just going to keep concentrating on my workout as a way to focus on me. I always have more energy when I'm working out, and that's been a blessing these past few weeks, as stressful as they've been. I read not too long ago that the "ideal" weight for a man of my age and height is 178, but even when I was down to 187 two years ago, I looked a little gaunt. I'm shooting for a fighting weight of about 195, I think. Let's see....
