first air conditioning of the season
Jen's dad finally got around to hanging one of two large stained glass panels I made for their house (to their design) 3 or 4 years ago. He sent Jen a picture. I noticed there was snow in the background of the picture. It turns out it snowed several inches up there the other day. Meanwhile we have turned the air conditioning on for the first time down here :-)
Peanut says her ear no longer hurts. However I think she still isn't hearing me as well as she should. We are on day 6 of the Amoxicilin, I suppose if her hearing doesn't get better I'll take her back in after day 10. If I read the articles Dad sent me correctly it's pretty common for the ear to stay clogged up for a while even after the infection is gone.
Jen's ear problem was not an infection, our doc put her on Allegra-D and some nasal spray, which has cleared her up some, keep your fingers crossed. Probably running the air conditioning instead of having the windows open will help some too.
Next week we're going to take Peanut to go look at a preschool for the Fall. She's growing up!
