After a long week at work, it can be really hard to face that fifth day (or in my case 28th day) working in a row. So on Fridays, I do try to step it up a bit so that my outfit boosts my confidence and gives me a lift. This was also a special Friday as my department had a special lecture by Dr. Stanley Plotkin, one of the heroes of child vaccinology in the last 60 years.
For some odd reason this dress strikes me as something Sophia Loren would wear to a business meeting (likely sans camisole, we are in different businesses!). For a me a cami was necessary less some of my infant patients mistake me for a feeding opportunity. This really rocks the hourglass shape and I felt great in it. It is one of the few dresses I own that is truly fitted so automatic good posture! The picture doesn't do it justice; it makes my waist look tiny, the girls look good (but not lascivious) and is forgiving on the hips, which is pretty much my style goal every day.
The hair---sigh, having to wash the night before so time to dry always compromises a great hair day. What can you do, darn freezing weather.
